For our 10th year, Z104 is joining with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve: Toys for Tots Program to help children throughout Hampton Roads experience a toy for the Holidays.

ABNB Coat Drive for Salvation Army
ABNB will be accepting new and gently used coat donations at all 17 branch locations. Coat donations will be donated to the Salvation Army and distributed to those in need in the Hampton Roads community now through December 11th! Click here for more information.

Surf-in-Santa


Surf-n-Santa

Take a break from the bustle of the holiday season and join J&A Racing for an evening of joy and wonder at the Surf-n-Santa 5 Miler presented by Bon Secours In Motion, a twilight race under the holiday lights along the beautiful Virginia Beach boardwalk.  J&A Racing are known for their fun and festive events as participants are encouraged to have fun, be creative, and dress up for the holiday season. A costume contest awards great prizes for the best naughty or nice holiday costume.  The 5 Miler features a flat and fast course through the twinkling holiday lights displays along the Virginia Beach boardwalk. All participants receive a unique medal, long sleeve technical shirt, a finisher’s item and access into the Rockin’ post race party in the Virginia Beach Convention Center. The post-race party will feature live music, Samuel Adams Beer; and warm soup in a bread boule. Come and join us for a night to remember.

A Christmas Carol


A Christmas Carol will open on Saturday, December 13 at 7:30 p.m. and feature a matinee on Sunday, December 14 at 4 p.m.  Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster – $15 for adults and $10 for children and students with I.D.  For information on group sales, please contact the Norfolk Scope Box Office at 757-664-6464.  All ticket sales will benefit the Crispus Attucks Cultural Center’s arts education programs.

Mac on Ice

MacArthur Center kicks off its 10th season of ice skating at the coolest place in town. Whether it’s a family tradition or a first date, the center’s 7, 200-square-foot outdoor ice rink is the place for good times this winter.  Throughout the season, enjoy public skating sessions, ice hockey clinics, figure skating exhibitions and more. Those new to the ice or feeling a bit rusty can sign up for private lessons or get a helping hand from skate guards on-site. Refreshments are available.

Admission is $6 or $5 with military ID.  Skate rentals are $6. Season passes and birthday party packages also are available.

Clean The Bay Day


Volunteers all over the state, from Hampton Roads to Northern Virginia, from the Eastern Shore to the Shenandoah Valley, work by land and boat to give the Bay a massive spring cleaning every year.
