(World Reknown Club DJ & Official DJ for Chris Brown)
DJ BabeyDrew never sleeps. Between traveling the world as the official DJ for multi-platinum selling artist Chris Brown, working on mixtapes and production projects, and deejaying a radio show for over 10 years—currently on 103 Jamz in Virginia Beach, VA—he is the epitome of the new age renaissance man. True to his New York roots, Queens-bred BabeyDrew’s playfully boastful personality is backed up by his skills as a true turntablist and entertainer. His ability to rock any crowd—from deejaying for Lil’ Wayne on Saturday Night Live to a packed club in Dubai—validates his position as one of VIBE magazine’s Top 100 DJ’s. On stage, he has supported some of the industry’s biggest artists such as Kanye West, Nas, Estelle, Ne-Yo, T-Pain, Jadakiss, Gym Class Heroes, Ludacris, Bow Wow, Christina Agulera, Nickelback, Pitbull, Sean Paul, and more. Constantly surrounded by music and DJ equipment growing up, BabeyDrew started deejaying at 12 and booked his first party at the age of 14. “Music has always been a major part of my life. Without it I would feel dead. Honestly, it’s not even about the money; I wake up everyday and do what I love. Not many people can say that.” Drew can spin for any type of crowd, in any part of the world, with an unbelievable intensity. He is known for going left field and playing any genre of music while maintaining the attention of the crowd. Though his first love is R&B and reggae, BabeyDrew’s musical flexibility most recently extended to gospel. He contributed to Mary Mary’s “God in Me” and “Superfriend” on their album The Sound, which reached the number 7 spot on the Billboard 200 November 2008. BabeyDrew, who is both a Core DJ and Shadyville DJ, has performed in over 20 countries and has appeared on The Grammy’s, The Oprah Winfrey Show, MTV’s TRL, BET’s 106 & Park, Ellen Degeneres, The View, The Today Show, Good Morning America, Regis and Kelly, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Kid’s Choice Awards, and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
