I'm a Turkey

So we're doing a Thanksgiving Text-2-win weekend. Basically giving away Christmas town tickets for Busch Gardens. We imaged it as, "Your family is in town and the only way you'll survive is by getting LIT...as in lit up like Christmas lights". Anyway, I was elected to do a video about the contest for our homepage. It's weird how Nick has a costume in his office for every occasion.

Miss Virginia USA 2012

It was a fun night filled with craziness and emotions! For the 3rd year in a row i got to cohost the Miss Virginia USA pageant. The crowning event was held this past Satuday at the Sandler Center in the VaBeach Towncenter.

I got there around 9am and we rehearsed ALL DAY LONG. Seriously! People don't understand the work that goes into these shows. All the girls are practicing nonstop! From dancing to difficult interview questions, to placement on stage to following instructions from the weird host (me).

I read on Gizmodo this morning that quote, "We've seen a patent that Nike filed for auto-lacing shoes". They are talking about the Shoes that Marty McFly wore in Back to the Future II. Here is the scene from the movie:

Professional Vampires aka. Pint Party

It's was a GREAT promotion. Tricia's Pint Party got even bigger this time around. We broadcast and setup at multiple malls this past weekend. When it comes to the summer months the blood banks reach a critical LOW.Â Tricia had a goal of 150 pints and weall thought that was going to be tough.Â The 757 came out strong and we collected 167 units of BLOOD.Â That's amazing.Â Here are some pics of me at the Chesapeake square mall giving blood this past Sunday.
