In only two days it will be December 12th, 2012 aka 12/12/12! This is the last time we'll see a date like this in our life time because the next one won't occur until January 1st, 2101! So lets meet Kiam Moria from Birmingham, Alabama. This Kid will turn 12 at EXACTLY 12:12pm on 12/12/12! How insane is that?! None of his peers believed him until he actually showed them his birth certificate! Best part of this story?? Kiam DOES NOT want a cake for his birthday, he's asked for Krispy Kreme Donuts in the shape of a 12 because, quote, "Donuts are awesome."
Edith Cowan University in Western Australia just released the results of a survey taken of BURGLARS to gain insight into how they operate and what they are afraid of. I'm not quite sure how in THE WORLD volunteers were found to take this survey but let's just take their word for it! Ready?
1) A burglar is most likely to enter through an open door or window. About two-thirds of burglars break in through a door or window that's unlocked.
2) A guard dog is the number one deterrent.69% of burglars said they are most likely to avoid a house it there's a dog. Burglars are more scared of dogs than of alarm systems . . . or even of YOU being inside the house.
3) Leaving the lights and TV on doesn't fool them. If you think that leaving the lights and TV on will make them think someone's home and keep them from breaking in . . . it won't. They know that trick.
4) They use Facebook. The majority of burglars said they scout Facebook to see when people are on vacation.
5) Parties are one of their favorite ways to rob a house. Burglars say one of the easiest ways to steal stuff is to go to a party and pretend they're a guest.

Okay, so there's really isn't a 5-for-1 deal at Best Buy... I may have exaggerated-- slightly. The TRUE story is that a woman named Alexa ordered an iPad online as a Christmas for her son. Upon receiving the order in the mail she realized that they had sent FIVE iPads instead of ONE! Alexa contacted Best Buy to report their error and was told by a representative for the company that there was nothing that he could do because the system only showed her as receiving one. Alexa contacted a website called the Consumerist to tell her story. Once the Consumerist contacted Best Buy with this story Alexa received a letter from the company stating:
"Good afternoon, Alexa –
Laura, from the Consumerist, contacted us here at Best Buy on your behalf. First and foremost, I wanted to let you know how much we appreciate your honesty. That is so rare in this day and age and I sincerely thank you!
We, here at Best Buy, acknowledge that we obviously made a mistake, but in the spirit of the holidays, we encourage you to keep the additional iPads and give them to people in need – friends, family, a local school or charity.
I have not shared this resolution with Laura, as you are the customer, but it is up to you if want to let her know the outcome of your discussion.

Not long after this story aired ANOTHER person named NICK came forward to admit that he had received 5 iPads as well! I'm not sure if Best Buy responded with the same cheerful letter but I have a pretty good feeling that someone-somewhere lost their job for it! TAKE THE POLL BELOW TO LET US KNOW:
This past Friday 41-year-old James Irvine of Palm Coast, Florida was home, watching is 10-month-old son. He wanted to go out to a bar-- and that's just what he did! James took precautions to make sure he had a reliable babysitter, His Pitt Bull!

I SAID HIS PIT BULL!! THE MAN LEFT HIS 10-MONTH -OLD AT HOME ALONE WITH A DOG SO THAT HE COULD GO AND DRINK AT A BAR!!!
When the child's mother returned home from work she realized that James was outside attempting to get into the house though the garage. After learning that their child was left home alone with the Dog, She immediately called the police and James was arrested for Child Neglect.. Good for her...
I wish there was more to this story but the title literally says it all! 21-year-old Albert Munoz and 20-year-old Freddy Benavides Junior of Bay Shore, New York followed a UPS truck from the post office so that they could STEAL the Christmas packages the driver left at people's homes. Unfortunately for them an off duty state trooper witnessed them stealing his neighbors package and called the cops! They traced the young men back to the post office where they were attempting to follow yet ANOTHER TRUCK! needless to say these two brainiacs arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property. Bummer.
I'd like to start off by stating that Katt Williams is my ALL-TIME FAVORITE comedian. With that being said, its obvious with his recent string of public outburst, and ridiculous that he is NOT doing too well. After a three day string of run-ins with the law Katt Williams, and his family were evicted out of a Seattle Hotel. Watch the video above to see the trouble funnyman tearfully announce his retirement to local News Station, Seattle's KOMO. Katt was also quoted as saying:
“This was a place I like to bring my kids and let them do stuff without people caring who they were,” he said. “I got arrested in front my kids three times in my three days stay in Seattle… And all we were doing was coming into town to sell jokes and police department painted me as some sort of public menace that came to town."
Sheeeesh I hope things get better for Mr. Williams.. I'm not ready for him to retire!!

Chicago's WGN news team made a slight error Friday morning, when they reported that a small plane had crashed in the middle of the city. I thought it was absolutely hilarious watching them speculate what was happening while airing footage for several minutes. Finally some one from the control room explained to them that the plane HADN'T crashed; they were looking of the set of "Chicago Fire". Okay so this article immediately caught my intention because if ANYONE knows about being single.. I do! According to a new survey, the average woman dates two different men every month this jar, for a total of 24 men. 60% dated more than one guy at the same time, and just under half had a guy on the side who they could call and hook up with whenever!
So if you spent this year SINGLE, it's time to find out whether you failed in your dating skills compared everyone else!!

Now one of these facts almost applied to me, but I moved out of my parents house this past weekend so I just can't relate to these statistics!
Researchers in France took men's photos and digitally altered them to look like women's faces.. After mixing the pictures in with those of real women, men were asked to identify the woman they found most attractive. The study found that men were more likely to rate the women who looked like them as most attractive.
The researchers also analyzed photos of couples and found that they share more facial traits than two random people would. The explanation for this is called homogomy. This is when an animal species prefers partners who are close to them genetically. Sorry humans you aren't immune to this theory..
