In the new issue of "Vanity Fair", Jay Z says he could have snagged Beyonce even if he wasn't a famous rapper and even if he was a gas station attendant. But only if he still had the same level of coolness. Jay also says that when it comes to his music, nobody's opinion matters more than his 18-month-old daughter Blue Ivy's. He says, "She loves all the songs on my new album. She plays a song and she goes, 'More, Daddy, more! Daddy song.' She's my biggest fan.
Amanda Bynes has been diagnosed as both schizophrenic and bipolar. A source says, "The bright side is that Amanda can lead a long, normal life, as long as she takes her medication. "Doctors at the treatment facility are still working to get Amanda therapeutic meds and she's responding to the medications she is being given to treat her dual diagnosis."
YouTube is getting its own music awards show this year. The ceremony will stream live on YouTube on Sunday, November 3rd, and will include performances by Lady Gaga, Arcade Fire and Eminem. Jason Schwartzman is hosting. Nominees will be announced on October 17th. I'll give it one year and a network will pick it up and broadcast it on tv.
"X" finally has a date. Chris Brown has revealed when we will all get to hear his highly anticipated 6th album. Originally due in July, it will arrive in stores and online on November 19th.
