Sources close to the situation are calling Lauren a gold-digger, and saying she got pregnant on purpose. Simon was reportedly blindsided by the news that she got her pregnant. He assumed she was using birth control. Simon thought this was a casual relationship - friends with benefits. The pregnancy was not planned. A source says, "He is feeling tricked. No question that Simon will want to be part of the baby's life, but I'm not so sure he wants to be part of Lauren's."
Amanda Bynes lost her bid to leave the psychiatric hospital. She appeared before a judge in the ward, and her lawyer argued she is capable of caring for herself and is not a danger to others. In the end the judge instead agreed with the doctors who said her mental situation is still precarious. Amanda does not acknowledge she has a mental illness, and doctors believe she would not take the meds that have stabilized her if she's out on her own. She is said to be doing much better since doctors started giving her a cocktail of meds aimed at schizophrenia.
