So here's something I found VERY interesting! Although today is the last day to register to vote.. the ones who haven't registered to vote are not the main concern! Some of the registration applications have been missing crucial information! Now we all know that applications cannot be processed without information such as a Social Security Number! Furthermore, the State Board of Elections is requesting that any Virginia Voters who have received phone calls stating that you are eligible to vote by phone gather as much information as you can from the caller and contact them at 1-800-552-9745! If you have no idea WHAT I'm talking about let me fill you in!
Virginia voters have been receiving illegal and false phone calls notifying them that they will be able to vote via telephone this election. AGAIN, THIS IS FALSE! You can only vote in person (at a precinct), or by an absentee ballot. Absentee voting will run through Saturday, November 3, 2012. The State Board of Elections is also tracking the source of the illegal calls, as this both a STATE AND FEDERAL CRIME.
