This comes from a celebrity blog so I'm not giving it a lot of weight. Supposedly, Carrie Underwood has been offered $3 million to pose in the April issue of "Playboy" magazine. According to the source, the offer is out there and Carrie's reps have yet to respond. Because she's not going to do it and never will unless she's paying off a deal she made with the devil himself.
Everyone was talking about Tina Fey's scar yesterday. Some of you may not have ever noticed it before, but she'd never talked about it before, until now. In the new issue of "Vanity Fair" she and husband Jeff Richmond finally reveal all about the scar. Jeff reveals that Tina got the scar when she was five years old. She was playing in the front yard of her home in suburban Philadelphia, when a stranger just walked up to her and sliced her cheek with something sharp. He says, "She just thought somebody marked her with a pen." He adds, quote, "That scar was fascinating to me. This is somebody who, no matter what it was, has gone through something. And I think it really informs the way she thinks about her life." Tina tells "Vanity Fair" why she doesn't talk about the scar, "It's impossible to talk about it without somehow seemingly exploiting it and glorifying it. It's really almost like I'm able to forget about it, until I was on-camera, and it became a thing of 'Oh, I guess we should use this side' or whatever. Everybody's got a better side."
Jennifer Hudson's brother-in-law, William Balfour, was arrested yesterday for the murders of Jennifer's mother, brother and nephew. Sources say Chicago police didn't come up with any new evidence against Balfour, who is the estranged wife of Jennifer's sister Julia. It was just a matter of putting everything they already had together. Balfour was booked on suspicion of the first-degree murders of Jennifer's mother, 57-year-old Darnell Donerson, her 29-year-old brother Jason Hudson and her 7-year-old nephew Julian King. (Julian was Julia Hudson's son, and Balfour's stepson.) He has not been formally charged yet. Sources say that could happen any time within the next week. The bodies of Donerson and Hudson were found in the family home on Chicago's South Side on Friday, October 24th. Julian King's body was found three days later in the backseat of Jason Hudson's Chevy Suburban about 10 miles away. Here's what police think happened. On the morning of the 24th, Julia Hudson went to her job as a school bus driver and found out that her paycheck had been taken because some car payments hadn't been made. The car in question was in Balfour's possession. Julia called Balfour, and they argued. Shortly thereafter, Balfour went to the Hudson family home and shot through the front door, striking Jason Hudson. Donerson was shot as she entered the living room. Police believe that 7-year-old Julian King was taken from the home alive, but shot in the vehicle that his body was eventually found in. Balfour has been locked up on a parole violation since the night of the murders. He had previously served seven years for attempted murder and carjacking.
