I'm kind of a MOVIE HO if you will - ha ha ha!! I really love to go to movies and more often than not, I'm going by myself, in the middle of the day. Go ahead, say something, Judgey McJudgerson!!
I saw this trailer this morning and thought it looked interesting...it's called "Now Is Good"
I can't wait CAN'T WAIT cannot wait to see "Pitch Perfect" too!
But tonight, I'm going out with my girls to see "Troube With the Curve" even though it didn't do too well in the box office, there's not a lot out there to see right now.
But I'm excited about this movie!! "Won't Back Down"
And I pretty much always want to see any Channing Tatum movie - especially since he and his real-life wife, Jenna Dewan is in it with him. Here's the trailer for "10 Years" but for some reason I can't find it playing anywhere in Hampton Roads. It opened nationwide on September 14th. What am I missing?? Is it just gonna go straight to DVD after all?
Saturday was the first day of fall and for once (being pregnant!) I was looking forward to the END of summer! We took the kids to the Zoo and Uncle Randy was in tow with favorite local cousins, Taylor and Julia. We had such a great time!
Our precious little otters: Julia, Taylor, Karrington and Noel!
Little man Julian found himself some Fruit Loops in the pantry while mommy was doing dishes in the kitchen.
I don't know who this girl is, but somebody needs to find her and GIVE her a record deal. TODAY!! Oh my goodness!! Who just shows up randomly at a grocery store after school with their backpack on and belts out Whitney Houston just as good (or better!) than Whitney Houston on a karaoke machine??! What ...the...whaaaat??! Check this girl out!!
Jay Pharoah made his debut asPresident Obama on"Saturday Night Live"this weekend. He's taking over fromFred Armisen, who did it the past few years. Jay's impersonation is pretty great, in fact, it makes you wonder why they didn't have him doing it earlier. Chesapeake is so proud!! Here he is!!
I'm serious. Death is NEVER funny, but I do really love when families and friends can tell a humorous story about their loved one and make a very grave situation a little bit lighter. If you haven't seen video of Tom Hanks telling a story at Michael Clark Duncan's funeral on Monday, you need to because it's hilarious. Tom repeated a story that Michael once told him about joining a gang when he was a kid. The upshot was that when his mother found out, she hit him in the head with a frying pan! And he had to go back to the gang and tell them that his mom wouldn't let him be a member! It's a really funny story!
OOOOOOOOOOH!!! I'm so excited! Most people would be upset that their Hollywood crush has tied the knot! Not me! Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds got married!! He's always been my back-up to Sexy Jim (hee hee!!) and Blake is my girl crush, so this is my perfect Hollywood sandwich...yum!! I still remember when Ryan Reynolds...by beloved Ryan...made the announcement that he and Scarlett Johansson were divorcing... on my birthday! Talk about a present!!
Anyhooo....here is the story from People magazine:
They got married Sunday night in a white tent near Charleston, in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Blake is good friends with Florence Welch (from Florence and the Machine) and she performed three songs at the reception. They have been dating a little over a year after they starred together in "Green Lantern" in 2011.
Good Morning America host Elizabeth Vargas had one of those 'oops' moments on Wednesday when she interviewed Isla Fisher, who referred to 'teabagging' as she was describing an act between her mother and a male stripper. Elizabeth, who is 50, laughed and then asked 'What's teabagging?' Kirsten Dunst and Lizzy Caplan, co-stars of "Bachelorette" were just as embarrassed.
Here is the trailer for "Bachelorette" - it comes out this Friday, September 6th!
