Planning on Moving to Canada After the Election?

Well if you have plans on moving to Canada in the even that things don't go the way you want with the Election, I'm here to help! We all have hear someone say that they're headed to another country if they aren't happy with the election results, but it's not as easy as one would think! Americans with a valid passport are welcome to vacation in Canada for up to six months, however to permanently move there they would have to obtain a residency card.

To receive a residency card, which is equivalent to a U.S.. green card, one must prove that they are in good economic standing. The individual would have to do this by getting a good job there, starting a business there, investing money there, or getting a graduate degree at one of their colleges. After three years of living under these circumstances, one would be able to apply for citizenship. Other obstacles include Canada requiring you to be completely healthy because they DON'T want to pay for your healthcare, Your taxes with most likely be HIGHER, and your credit score will basically start as ZERO! If all of this seems like a piece of cake and you're still interested in moving to Canada... go forth and conquer!!
