Kim Kardashian and Kanye West created an event they called Kidchella for their daughter North's first birthday party this weekend. It included a ferris wheel, performers on two stages, teepees, hair braiding, face painting and temporary tattoos, and cotton candy and snow cone machines. The event was held in Kourtney Kardashian's backyard, and Jaden Smith was one of the performers. Custom Yeezus T-shirts were given out as party favors.
Women's soccer star Hope Solo was arrested this weekend after she allegedly assaulted her sister and her nephew during a wild party at her house outside of Seattle. Police say Hope appeared to be intoxicated and upset, and her sister and 17-year-old nephew had visible injuries. She was arrested on two counts of misdemeanor domestic assault. Hope is a two-time Olympic gold medalist who currently plays pro soccer for the Seattle Reign. She's one of the top female goalies in the world.
Christina Milian has called it quits with fiance Jas Prince after two years of dating. She called off her engagement to the Rap-A-Lot Records CEO earlier this month. She moved her stuff out of their house in L.A. on Thursday. They started dating in 2010, months after her split from ex-husband The-Dream, with whom she has a 4-year-old daughter, Violet. Meanwhile, Hank Baskett supposedly moved out on Kendra Wilkinson on Friday but they were together at a child's birthday party on Saturday. Hank and Kendra have a 4 year-old son Hank, Jr. as well as a brand new one-month old baby girl Alijah.
John Legend was headed to Canada but got detained by custom agents. He was questioned because his legal name is John Stephens and that is the same name as Canada's most wanted. The Canadian John Stephens has a long criminal record but airport security is now aware of the difference between the two men. John was able to enter the country to perform at a Jazz festival last weekend.
