Lil Wayne was in New Orleans to film the video for a track called "God Bless Amerika", and things got a little controversial. There's video from the set, which shows Wayne desecrating an American flag by dancing on top of it.
Britney Spears has unveiled a new song called "Ooh La La". It's on the "Smurfs 2" soundtrack, which comes out July 23rd. She says she did it because her sons are obsessed with "The Smurfs" and they'll be featured in the song's upcoming music video.
Chris Brown has released a new single called "Don't Think They Know". We'd heard that the song would include a gay-friendly message, but it's just more of a general, 'love don't hate' type of thing. It features Aaliyah, who died in 2001. She also appears in the video as a hologram. "Don't Think They Know" is on Chris' next album, "X", which will be out on July 16th.
Drake has announced a 41-city North American tour kicking off this fall. Miguel will be his special guest and Future will make special appearances throughout the tour. Tickets for "Would You Like a Tour?" go on sale for most dates this Friday. He'll be coming to DC on Halloween.

In a 3-minute long cellphone commercial that aired during Sunday's NBA Finals game, Jay-Z announced that he's releasing a new album, called "Magna Carta Holy Grail," on July 4. The first one million copies will be available for download for free via an app for certain cellphone owners on June 24th. There are reports floating around that she took 20 Motrin's and tried to slit her writsts with a kitchen knife. She also left a suicide note, but it hasn't been revealed as to what it says. Paris realized she had made a mistake and "cried for help" which saved her. She was placed on a 72 hour mental health hold. Sources are saying that Paris threw a fit when she was told that she couldn't go to a Marilyn Manson show on a school night. The Jackson family lawyer said, "Paris is physically fine and is getting appropriate medical attention. Being a sensitive 15-year-old is difficult no matter who you are. It is especially difficult when you lose ther person closest to you." There is also added stress from the wrongful death trial her family launched against Michael's concert promoters. Paris sent out some cryptic tweets leading up to her suicide attempt: "I wonder why tears are salty" and "yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay."
