Michael Rule who is a machinist at the Campbell's Soup Plant in Sacramento, California recently learned that the factory would be closing down this summer, and that he would be laid off. Last week he went to the A-1 Mart convenience store where he buys his usual Mega Millions lottery ticket. On his way out, the clerk reminded him to check the previous week's ticket because he might be a winner. Well Michael did just that and realized that he had matched five of the six numbers in the October 30th drawing! The odds of doing that are about one in four million, and it earned Michael a check for a whopping $251,000... yes a QUARTER OF A MILLION DOLLARS!! He plans to pay off some bills and invest the rest of the money. Pictured above is Michael with his wife, son, and the GIANT CHECK!
