In November, 27-year old Stephen Perry of Carmel, Indiana found himself going through a difficult divorce with his wife Allison Meyer. Prior to the divorce they had taken on $200,000 in loans and mortgage debt and were BATTLING over it. Stephen decided that hiring a HITMAN to kill his wife would solve all of his problems. He decided to ask one of his coworkers at Valvoline oil change shop in Carmel. He specifically asked a black coworker named, Adrian Howard, because as he explained, "You're Black, I know y'all know people."
Well Adrian DID know people.. THE POLICE! They had him record conversations with Stephen including one where Stephen offered him $15,000 AND a machine that prints counterfeit money to do the hit. Stephen went on to say that if Adrian did not do it he wanted another black person to.
Stephen was arrested for conspiracy to commit murder. His trial will start in June.
