50-year-old James Washington was serving a 15 year sentence in prison for attempted murder when he suffered a MASSIVE heart attack. While on his death bed in the prison hospital, Washington to confessed murdering a 35-year old woman in 1995. He confessed to a nearby security guard stating, "I need to get this off my conscious,". Washington soon after made a miracle recovery and SURVIVED! Prison officials reported the confession to prosecutors, who reopened the case and filed charges against Washington! While on trial Washington actually had the audacity to "take his confession back". WOW. Last week Washington was convicted of murder and received an automatic life sentence. The Irony of this story is overwhelming.
