The BET Awards were last night Miguel and Rihanna won best male and female R&B artists, while Kendrick Lamar and Nicki Minaj took home best male and female hip hop artists. Kendrick was also named Best New Artist. Drake had the most nominations going in, at 12, and he ended up with three wins, including Video of the Year and Viewer's Choice. But he was a no show! Some people thought it was because he was afraid of running into Chris Brown. But on Twitter, he said he was just busy finishing an album, and spending time with his family before heading out on tour. Here's a rundown of the main winners:

Jessica Simpson gave birth to a baby boy on Sunday. This is the second child for Jessica and her fiancé Eric Johnson. They named him Ace Knute Johnson. "Knute" was Eric's grandfather's name. Jessica and Eric also have a daughter named Maxwell, who just turned a year old in May.
According to a new survey, women who've been married less than seven years would love to have sexy time with Channing Tatum, while guys would like to visit the bedroom of Jessica Alba. Channing got 29% of the vote, and he was followed by Ryan Gosling, Adam Levine and Leonardo DiCaprio. Jessica Alba got 34% of the vote in the guys' poll, and she was followed by Mila Kunis, Megan Fox and Kate Upton.
Jennifer Lopez has apologized after performing for the president of Turkmenistan on Saturday. The problem is, he's a huge human rights violator, and apparently Jen's people didn't look into it enough. Her rep released a statement yesterday that said, "Had there been knowledge of human rights issues of any kind, Jennifer would not have attended."
