David Letterman announced that he's retiring next year on "The Late Show" last night. There's no timetable yet. David said, "It'll be, I think, at least a year or so, but sometime in the not-too-distant future. In 2015 for the love of God, in fact, Paul Shaffer and I will be wrapping things up and taking a hike." There were a lot of celebrity reactions, but President Obama said it best when he Tweeted, "There are more than 10 reasons David Letterman will be missed." The Internet has begun speculating who may take David'd place. They're complete guesses at this point, but some of the names we heard include:  Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart, Craig Ferguson, Neil Patrick Harris, Tina Fey, Jerry Seinfeld, Conan O'Brien and even Jay Leno?

Last year there were rumors that Miranda Kerr hooked up with Justin Bieber after a fashion show in New York City so it's only fitting that we're now speculating in the Hot Couple Alert about some Orlando Bloom and Selena Gomez rumors. They met recently when Selena spoke to kids at some conference, and even ended up in a picture together along with Seth Rogen. But as far as everyone is concerned, they're totally hooking up!

"Life & Style" magazine has put together a list of "Six Stars Who Got Their Start as Backup Singers and Dancers" Here's their list:

1. "Scandal" star Columbus Short was a backup dancer for Britney Spears in the early-2000s.  He once said they also slept together, but didn't have sex because there was someone else in the room.  They just "kissed and hugged."
2. Channing Tatum's now-wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum was a backup dancer for 'N Sync in the early-2000s.  And rumor has it she might have had something to do with Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears splitting up.
3. Mariah Carey was a backup singer for Brenda K. Starr in the late-'80s. Brenda reportedly helped launch Mariah's career by passing her demo tape around.
4. "Glee" star Heather Morris was a backup dancer for Beyoncé about seven years ago.

5. Jennifer Lopez was a backup dancer for New Kids on the Block in the early-'90s.
6. Sheryl Crow was a backup singer for Michael Jackson in the late-'80s. And she had some major '80s hair going on at the time. Check this out!
