Nine African American, former "Americal Idol" contestants from various seasons have come together to accuse the show of racism, and they're planning to sue. Their lawyer accuses "Idol" of engaging in a quote, "cruel and inhumane" scheme to exploit and humiliate black contestants for ratings. They are saying the show disqualified only black contestants mostly due to their problems with the law. Of course "Idol" is saying that it is all lies. Part 1 of the Lance Armstrong/Oprah Winfrey took place last night. Lance admitted to using performance enhancing drugs to win ALL seven of his Tour de France titles. He also used "blood doping" and blood transfusions. He admitted that he did not believe it would have been possible to win all those titles without doping. He didn't have a good answer as to why he was coming clean now...and at the time he felt like he wasn't cheating. He also apologized to all of his fans and the people he hurt in the process.

An insider is saying he told producers that "he and his cousins started a Christian band together, and were on their way to perform at a youth conference in Nevada when they got into a massive accident. He said a truck crashed into their car. He said that doctors initially thought one of them might be brain dead but miraculously, everyone was fine." The car accident was part of Lennay's made up story.

We don’t know what the announcement is for sure yet, but it's probably details on a new album, a single, tour dates, or some combination of those. In the video, he says he's "ready" to return to his music career. He says he isn't someone who can record new music every year and be happy with it. He needs to take his time in-between projects. When the time came, the "announcement" was just a countdown for another announcement.
Beyoncé broke some news on her website saying, "I'm so proud to announce the first original Destiny's Child music in eight years!" Yes, a new Destiny’s Child compilation is on the way. It's called "Love Songs" and it's coming out January 29th. It'll include one brand new song called "Nuclear". Meanwhile, we believe that Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams will reunite with Beyoncé onstage during her halftime performance at the Super Bowl on February 3rd. Insiders say Bey will open the show by herself and midway through her performance, Kelly and Michelle will come onstage for a short medley of Destiny's Child songs ending with that new song "Nuclear". If this happens, it'll be their first performance together since 2006.

And to make this lawsuit even more ridiculous, this guy is one of those former Israeli military guys who is like one of the biggest badasses on the planet. The dude's name is Moshe Benabou, and he worked for Justin for about a year and a half till last October and he claims Justin was abusive. During one incident, he claims Justin berated him and punched him in the chest multiple times. A source close to Justin calls the guy, "a disgruntled employee looking for money" and says the idea that Justin hit him is absurd. Moshe was actually fired apparently for being a pretty habitual liar. He even lied to get the job in the first place by falsely claiming he had previously worked with Justin Timberlake.
Nominations for this year's Oscars were announced yesterday, and "Lincoln" got the most, with 12. "Life of Pi" was a close second with 11. Both movies are up for Best Picture along with "Argo", "Django Unchained", "Les Misérables", "Beasts of the Southern Wild", "Silver Linings Playbook", "Amour", and "Zero Dark Thirty". There weren't any huge snubs for Best Picture, but there were in the Best Director category. Some people expected "Zero Dark Thirty" director Kathryn Bigelow to not only be nominated but to WIN Best Director. She was left out along with "Les Misérables" director Tom Hooper and "Argo" director Ben Affleck, who were also expected to be nominated. Here are the rest of nominees.

Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks has been suspended for one game for going after Celtics star Kevin Garnett after their game Monday night. Garnett allegedly started it during the game, by telling Anthony that his wife tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios. But the NBA says, "There are no circumstances in which it is acceptable to confront an opponent after a game."

On the music side of things, Katy Perry won in four categories. Both favorite song and album were won by One Direction. But Nicki Minaj and Rihanna won for Favorite Hip-Hop and Favorite R&B artist. Those "50 Shades of Grey" books are definitely aimed at women. But the movies might have something for the guys, too because Kelly Marcel, the woman who's writing the script for the first installment, is aiming for an NC-17 rating. She says, "It’s going to be raunchy. We are 100% going there." Sadly, not every sex scene can be represented in a 90-minute movie. Marcel says, "We did go through and decide which are our favorites and which are not. Most of them are in there, but I can’t say more than that."
Four years after Chris Brown viciously beat Rihanna on the eve of the Grammy Awards, now he wants to perform with his girlfriend at this year's ceremony. He wants to perform with Rihanna to show the whole world they are back together. "Chris doesn't care what the haters say, and wants to give the viewers an over the top performance with Rihanna." Producers of the Grammys haven't signed off on having Chris and Rihanna perform together. It's an extremely delicate situation and there is concern about the backlash the performance could receive. But it could also be ratings gold.
The Parents Television Council's latest freak-out is targeted at an upcoming Oxygen reality show called "All My Babies' Mamas". The show stars Shawty Lo, who has fathered 11 children with 10 different women. Shawty started early. He fathered his first child when he was 15 and has clearly been busy since. He's 36 years old now. A rep for the PTC says, "The premise of this show is crass, irresponsible and exploitative. Oxygen should be more responsible." There's also a petition up at Change.org that asks for production to be stopped. Around 30,000 people have signed it.
Oscar nominees will be announced tomorrow morning. Which means that today, we get the Razzie nominees. The Golden Raspberry Awards celebrate the worst in cinema. And looking back on 2012, they had a lot to choose from. The final "Twilight" flick, "Breaking Dawn - Part 2", leads the pack with 11 nominations in 10 categories. Adam Sandler also cleaned up with eight nods for "That's My Boy". "Battleship" rounds out the top three with seven nominations. Last year, Sandler set a record with 11 nominations for three crappy movies: "Jack and Jill", "Just Go With It" and "Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star". In an interview with Barbara Walters that aired on "Nightline" last night, Mariah Carey confirmed that Nicki Minaj threatened her on the set of "American Idol" and she took it seriously enough to hire extra security. She said, "I just felt it was the appropriate thing to do. Sitting there on the road with two babies, I'm not going to take any chances. It felt like an unsafe work environment. Anytime anybody's reeling threats at somebody, you know, it's not appropriate. I'm a professional. I'm not used to that type of environment. " Barbara said Mariah and Nicki have since made up. By the way, Barbara asked Mariah about the rumored $18 million she's making on "Idol". She wouldn't confirm that number, but said it was, "in the ballpark."
Taylor Swift and Harry Styles broke up. Poor girl lost another boyfriend this time only after two months. They flew to the Virgin Islands together on New Year’s Day, had a heated argument and then broke up. So, Taylor decided to come back to the states while Harry accepted a sweet invitation to party on British billionaire Richard Branson's private island. Neither of them said a word about it, but then on Saturday Taylor opened the door when she Tweeted, "Til you put me down". That's a line from her song "I Knew You Were Trouble", which is supposedly about Harry. The full line is "Flew me to places I'd never been / so you put me down". The "put me down" part would be Harry breaking up with her.
Farrah Abraham's fixation with beauty has reached an all-time high. After the “Teen Mom” received $16,000 worth of plastic surgery, the 20 year-old decided to improve her 3-year-old daughter Sophia's looks, too. Last Saturday, Farrah blogged about her decision to remove her toddler's unibrow. Realizing that the hair wouldn't go away on its own, she attempted to wax her little girl's eyebrows but didn’t exactly do a great job. She said, "Sophia was freaking out, so I had to act like it was a cool science project to get the wax off." Once her daughter fell asleep, she used tweezers to remove the remaining hairs. Don’t worry, Farrah said, "I feel like a good mom."
"Bachelor" host Chris Harrison and the new bachelor, Sean Lowe, have set up a fake number that you can give out. When the guy calls, he'll be greeted with messages from both of them, where they deliver the bad news. Chris' is pretty blunt. He says, quote, "Whoever gave you this number is trying to send you a message, and it's not a good one. They don't like you. No rose for you." Then, the guy is given the option to hear one of three messages from Sean: They can hear him "commiserate about their wasted, crushed heart" they can hear him read an uplifting poem or they can get a pep talk. We now have PICTURES that allegedly show Justin Bieber smoking pot in a California hotel room. He hasn't admitted to it, but after the pictures hit the web, he Tweeted, "Everyday growing and learning. trying to be better. u get knocked down, u get up. Back on tour tomorrow. Ready to see u all smile. Time to do what I'm supposed to be doing…performing."
Blue Ivy Carter turns one year old today. The daughter of Jay-Z and Beyonce is celebrated big time, no doubt. But her daddy has made sure she gets to hang out in style while at work with him. Blue has her very own luxurious hangout in the Barclays Center entertainment and sports center. Jay-Z rents a basement suite for $1million a year. It includes Blue Ivy's baby toys.
A YouTube rapper named Freddy E committed suicide over the weekend. He was 22. Freddy E was the guy behind the channel "JerkTV", which featured raps, comedic skits, and spoken word performances. Just before his death, he basically announced that he was killing himself on Twitter. He Tweeted, "It's all bad, y'all. *Puts finger around Trigger* I love you Mom, I love you Dad. God, please forgive me. I'm sorry."
R. Kelly has recorded a tribute to the victims of the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary last month. It's called "I Know You Are Hurting (Tribute to the Newtown, Connecticut Kids)", and the proceeds will benefit the victims' families. Actually, a children's choir sings the song, and it features R. Kelly. He wrote it, but he doesn't actually sing a verse.
You might wanna sit down for this. Kanye West wants to record a song with his baby mama, Kim Kardashian. They plan to put it out when their child is born in June. He has already booked a recording studio for the end of the month and they will soon be getting to work. Now she said on Twitter that she will be working on her eighth album and when someone mentioned “X Factor” she just simply said she was really focused on her music right now. But sources close to Simon Cowell claim that “he wanted crazy Britney, but he got boring Britney." By the way, L.A. Reid announced his departure from the show just last month.
Remember Kris Allen? He won "American Idol" season 8. Well he and his wife Katy were in a terrible head-on car accident a few hours after they rang in the New Year this week near Little Rock, Arkansas. They were saved by air bags and seat belts, but their car was totaled and Kris broke his arm. His wife Katy is pregnant and is doing well. The other driver of the car was charged.
During a concert in Atlantic City Sunday night, Kanye West paused in the middle of a song to make a pretty big announcement. He said, “Can we make some noise for my baby mama right quick?” Kim Kardashian later confirmed the pregnancy. She is about 12 weeks along. That would bring baby K along sometime in June. This will be the first baby for both stars. Anyone think it’s a fake pregnancy?
A paparazzo attempting to shoot photos of Justin Bieber's Ferrari was hit by another car and killed last night -- although Bieber was not behind the wheel of the Ferrari. Law enforcement say Bieber's white Ferrari was pulled over by California Highway Patrol for a routine traffic stop but JB wasn’t even in the car. A paparazzo -- who was following the Ferrari at the time of the pull over -- attempted to snap pics while officers conducted the traffic stop ... until police advised the photographer to move back because the situation was unsafe. At some point, the photog was struck by an oncoming vehicle and killed. We understand the driver will not be charged, but LAPD is investigating the incident.
Hugh Hefner is celebrating the new year as a married man. The 86 year-old married his 26 year-old girlfriend, Crystal Harris on New Year’s Eve. She had previously called off the engagement last year. But that was a planned wedding. We didn’t see "Dancing With the Stars" judge Len Goodman getting married. He’s been with his girlfriend for over ten years, but they surprised their family and friends on Sunday and married over a lunch/wedding service. He’s 68, his new bride, a dance teacher named Sue Barrett is 47.
Anderson Cooper’s manhood was on the run from Kathy Griffin live on CNN New Year’s Eve. She attempted to “go south” several times. She tried to kiss his private area not once or twice, but over and over! Anderson went along, but was clearly annoyed. She claimed David Letterman dared her. Anderson said “it would have been a first.”
