MTV has announced that the upcoming sixth season of "Jersey Shore" will be its last. The season has already been filmed, and will premiere on October 4th. MTV is going to air repeats of "Jersey Shore" all day next Thursday, before the "MTV Video Music Awards". The marathon will run up to 6:00pm, when they're going to air a one-hour special called "Gym, Tanning, Look Back", where the cast will "reminisce" about the show. Then at 7:00, the cast will give live interviews from the red carpet at the "VMAs". MTV is also planning to air other specials, including "after-shows" following each Season Six episode and a reunion special after the finale. Of course, the stars of "Jersey Shore" aren't totally going away unfortunately. MTV just ordered a second season of "Snooki & JWoww" – shweew!
Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte is in talks to get his own reality show on E! It'll probably be one of those things where they just film him doing whatever it is that he does. He says, "Pretty much they follow me on my normal day, just training, doing my own fashion line. It's real. It's not fake or anything like that."
Bill and Giuliana Rancic announced on Twitter Thursday their first child has been born via a surrogate in Denver. Edward Duke Rancic was born Wednesday. Giuliana has suffered numerous health issues in recent years. Their show "Giuliana & Bill" is on Style Network.
"American Idol" has yet to announce who the new judges will be that will sit next to Mariah Carey, but I can tell you who won’t be sitting at the judges’ table. It seems the dawg days are over at "American Idol." Randy Jackson is officially leaving the show as a judge. He will still remain a part of the show as a "mentor."
Hip-hop business man Chris Lighty was found dead of an apparent suicide yesterday at his home in New York City. He was 44. Reports say that he shot himself in the head after an argument with his ex-wife. Chris managed a lot of big-name artists including Puff Diddly Pooh, 50 Cent, JaRule, Mariah Carey and A Tribe Called Quest. He also helped LL Cool J, Milssy Elliott and Busta Rhymes land lucrative sponsorship deals. He was in the midst of a divorce and had been having recent financial and personal troubles. Survivors include his two children.
Now that there's texting, e-mail seems so old-school. But John Mayer allegedy dumped Katy Perry by email because he was "tired of her hard partying." But celebs rebound like no one else so don't worry too much about Katy. A source says that Katy is one of the many women trying to land Robert Pattinson. They've been friends for years, but last week they went to dinner together where they were, "nestled close and flirting."
It's almost time for Adele to welcome her little one. She just announced two months ago that she was expecting. However, paparazzi have snapped some pictures of her wearing a wedding ring! She has a gold band on her left hand, leading everyone to believe she and boyfriend Simon Konecki have secretly tied the knot. PS for the first time in 78 weeks, her "21" album is not in the Billboard Top 10. But officially, congratulations to Trey Songz on his first number one album this week.
Lindsay Lohan has been banned from one of her favorite hangouts. The Chateau Marmont says that she owes them more than $46,000. Lindsay basically lived out of the hotel for 47 days in June and July, but they sent Lindsay a letter asking her to move out claiming that they'd been trying to get her to settle up for weeks. They even sent her an itemized bill that included stuff like $686 for cigarettes and $3,145 in minibar charges. But a source says Lindsay was shocked when she received the bill because the producers of her Lifetime movie "Liz & Dick" had agreed to pay for her stay while she was working for them. Lindsay is trying to work things out with the producers, and if they refuse to pay, she'll cover the bill.
Beanie Sigel was scheduled to begin a two-year prison sentence for tax evasion in two weeks and apparently, he decided to go out with a bang. At 3:00am yesterday morning, Beanie was rolling around Philly in a car full of cash, drugs, and a loaded gun. He was riding shotgun. There were two problems with that: One, the cops pulled them over and saw the cash, the drugs and the gun and two, Beanie and the other guy are both convicted felons, so neither of them is allowed to have a gun. The drugs included: Marijuana, a bottle of codeine syrup with the label scratched off, "numerous" prescription bottles, and several pills wrapped in plastic bags in a cigarette pack. The cash was "more than" $4,600. Both men were arrested and hit with drug and gun charges. It's unclear what this might mean for the length of Beanie's sentence, but it can't be good. By the way, Beanie's lawyer says he's just going to start serving his time now. The CEO of Beanie's label says, "Obviously we are very disappointed Beanie has been struggling with some personal issues, and we continue to support him now and throughout his impending incarceration."
When Charles Barkley was in Raleigh, North Carolina for a charity golf tournament, he decided to try his hand at karaoke. It did not go well. Charles butchered the Boyz II Men classic "End of the Road". Luckily, actual members of Boyz II Men were there to help him out.
When those naked party pics of Prince Harry surfaced last week, we thought that was the end of it, but now there’s video of the festivities. And whoever's got it has been quietly trying to figure out how much they can sell it for. Other than some naked pool-playing, it's not clear what's on the video. But one source claims people were using drugs including cocaine, marijuana and shrooms. This source did not say whether Harry was one of them.
Someone it shopping a sex tape featuring Dev and an old boyfriend. And this is one of the few times the legitimacy of the video isn't in question, because Dev fully admits it's real. She says, "My boyfriend at the time and I were young and having fun, it was a long time ago. I am now a mom and engaged and have more important things to think about than someone trying to embarrass me." Dev is 23. There's no word how old she was when she made the video, but if it's more than five years old, it might qualify as child pornography, which would make it unwise for anyone to actually buy it and try to market it.
One website is in negotiations to buy a photo of Ryan Lochte’s manhood. It's one of those typical "took-it-himself-in-the-bathroom-mirror" shots he did for a girl he's not with anymore. But the top of the photo cuts off his head, so nobody's 100% certain it's really him. The story is that after the Olympics, a friend of Ryan's ex started showing it to people. One of those people decided to make some money off it.
In the Big Fat Rumor of the Day, there was talk that Chris Brown and Rihanna were planning some kind of "major reunion" at the "MTV Video Music Awards" next Thursday. But it isn't happening. Chris' rep says that he will not be at the VMAs in any capacity. But friends think it could happen. Rihanna's friend said, "Hell yeah, she would. There isn't anything she wouldn't do for him." And a friend of Chris' supposedly said, "Why wouldn't he? It would be the first time in a long time that he would be onstage with his boo." By the way, Rihanna will be at the "VMAs". She'll perform, as will One Direction, Taylor Swift, Pink, Green Day and Frank Ocean. Demi Lovato will perform during the pre-show.
Justin Bieber will be a mentor on an episode of "X Factor" this season. He'll assist L.A. Reid, who's working with the contestants 25 and older. PS, JB is only 19. There's also talk that Nick Jonas will be Demi Lovato’s guest mentor. She's working with the youngest contestants, ages 12 to 16. Nick is supposedly still in the running to be one of the new "American Idol" judges, but "Idol" probably wouldn't appreciate Nick also working on "X Factor", so maybe this means Nick isn't getting the "Idol" job.
In the Hot Couple Alert today, Russell Brand is dating Ginger Spice! Russell and Geri Halliwell hung out at the Olympics. They had met each other several times before, but they just clicked this time and seem to have so much in common. A source says, "Things are getting very serious between them. They're a proper couple now."
"Dancing with the Stars" has announced that former Disney star Sabrina Bryan has been added to the cast of the all-star season. She won the final spot over Carson Kressley and birthday boy Kyle Massey in a fan vote. Sabrina was on Season Five in 2007 and paired with Mark Ballas. Even though they created a relationship out of it and should have won the whole thing, they came in seventh. This time around, Sabrina will be dancing with Louis Van Amstel. "X Factor" has announced the judges’ responsibilities this season. This time the categories are based more on age than gender. Demi Lovato will mentor the youngest contestants, boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 16. Britney Spears will work with the 17-24 year-olds and L.A. Reid is taking all contestants 25 and older. That means, Simon Cowell is handling the groups this year.
Timbaland and Missy Elliott will release two new songs this weekend. We'll have them for you on Monday in E on the Z. They're called "9th Inning" and "Triple Threat."
Remember when Lindsay Lohan went to an overnight house party last week and about $100,000 worth of watches and sunglasses ended up missing? Well, last we heard, Lindsay was interviewed by cops and then went on her way and was not considered a suspect. But that may have changed. Police now consider Lindsay and her assistant, Gavin Doyle, suspects. The funny thing is, the guy who threw the party has reportedly recanted his story and now says nothing was stolen. But police aren't closing the case because they have witnesses who say Lindsay and Gavin did steal the stuff. As you may know, Lindsay is still on probation for stealing a necklace from a jewelry store. Which means a new charge could result in a probation violation, sending Lindsay to jail. Of course she won't go to jail. For some reason, Lindsay never faces any real consequences for her actions.
Snooki gave birth to her new little man on Sunday. She and fiancé Jionni LaValle welcomed Lorenzo Dominic LaVell just before 3am. One of her reps Tweeted, “The world just got another guido!!” Little Lorenzo weighed 6obs 5oz and Snooki is very much in love with her new son. We'll make fun of her tomorrow.
Rihanna spent pretty much all day Saturday with Rob Kardashian. First they rode go-karts at Racer's Edge Indoor Karting in Burbank. Then they hit up the Playhouse nightclub in Hollywood. They were not interested in being photographed together, because they entered and left the club separately. And by the way Rob has a girlfriend. Rita Ora is in London right now. They have each other's names tattooed on their hands.
"American Idol" offered Katy Perry $20 million to be a judge this season, but she turned it down. "Idol" is reportedly paying Mariah Carey $18 million for her services, so you can imagine how angry that’s got her!! Supposedly, Katy wasn't interested, and "money wasn't the issue." She just couldn't fit it into her schedule, and didn't think that it was a good career move right now. Meanwhile, word is that Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban are basically locked in to join "Idol" with Nicki scoring around $8 million and Keith getting around $4 million. They’re expected to make an announcement this week.
On Friday, Usher was awarded primary custody of his two sons. His custody will start next Saturday. He and his ex-wife, Tameka Foster will have joint legal custody. She plans to file an appeal.
John Mayer and Katy Perry aren't dating anymore. A source says, "They'll end up as friends. They were honestly having fun. People made it out to be far more than it was." But another source says the breakup wasn't amicable at all, "John did a real number on Katy. She held off from his advances for the longest time, but he laid on the charm thick and promised her he was a changed man. She eventually gave in, fell head over heels for him and then once he had made his conquest, he dumped her. She's really upset about it. She is making it seem like it wasn't serious with John, but she is hurt."
Lil Wayne has found one less fan in New York State Senator Malcolm Smith this week. The politician said he was "shocked" by Weezy's distaste for New York City. He's upset over Wayne's "I don't like New York" comment during an MTV appearance on Monday. But come on, Lil Wayne's last long stay in the New York City wasn't a pleasant one. He spent 8 months behind bars on Rikers Island on gun charges, so it seems understandable that he isn't too enamored with the Big Apple. Regardless, Senator Smith felt the need for a press conference in Times Square on Wednesday, where he called on Lil Wayne to issue an apology. He said, "Very simple, if you don’t like New York, you don’t have to come to New York, you don’t have to sell your products here and, perhaps, we won’t come to your concerts." Smith also suggested Nicki Minaj step in and tell Weezy he's made a mistake.
Britney Spears is still under her conservatorship after four and a half years and there's a good reason for that. Britney's people filed papers this week asking the judge in the conservatorship case to seal certain "highly sensitive" records that could cause Britney, "irreparable harm and immediate danger." Sources say these records have to do with a serious medical issue that prevents Britney from consistently making sound decisions. Whatever this disorder is, it affects Britney's personality and state of mind and while she's currently doing, "extremely well", she still needs that safety net.

Rihanna is reportedly interested in Robert Pattinson, and she's been texting him in the Big Fat Rumor of the Day. A source says Rihanna thinks Rob is "very cute", but she never pursued him because he was attached. Now there's some room to work. Rihanna got Rob's number from a mutual friend, and she's been sending him some, "sexy, funny texts" to cheer him up. The source says Rob has been resisting, but his friends are pushing him to go for it, telling him it's time to enjoy life again.
Lady Gaga posted a collection of old video clips on YouTube earlier this month. In one of them, Gaga is dancing around in her apartment to one of her own songs and flashing her boobs. (PS: The song is "Sheisse". But be WARNED: That's the German version of the S-word.) Even though this seems like the kind of thing YouTube would remove, it's been up there since August 3rd. And last we checked it was still there. The segment starts at about the 52-second mark, but the actual flashing happens at around 1:20. What's particularly funny is that after the flashing, Gaga's mother enters the room and starts dancing with her apparently having no idea her daughter had just exposed her cans.
On Tuesday night, Rick Ross was performing in Las Vegas, and he surprised the crowd by bringing out David Copperfield. Rick introduced him saying, "This is a mother f***in icon. In his field, he's the greatest that ever did it" and later added, "This is a legend." Rick then laid down his rap from "Black Magic", a track off "Self Made Volume 2", which is a new compilation album from his Maybach Music Group label. The rap name-checks David, with the line, "Poof! There go the car / Poof! There go the crib / Poof! A hundred mill / Woop, David Copperfield." David looked like he was having a great time and afterward, he Tweeted a video, and said, "Working on my street cred. On stage last night with Swizz Beatz and Rick Ross. Unreal. Poof!"
An intruder broke into LL Cool J's home in L.A. on Tuesday night, but unfortunately for him, LL was home at the time, and he was feeling confrontational. According to reports, LL heard something at around 1:00am, and went to investigate. He discovered an intruder in his kitchen and proceeded to beat the crap out of him. Police sources tell the "Los Angeles Times" that the intruder "rushed" him, which led to a "knock-down drag-out fight." The cops showed up shortly after that, and arrested the guy. He was hospitalized, and is being treated for several injuries including a broken nose and jaw. It definitely doesn't sound like this guy was a professional robber. He's being described as a "transient," and officials believe he may suffer from "mental issues." He's 58 years old.
Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Conor Kennedy were asked to stay away from a Kennedy family wedding last Saturday, but they went anyway. Conor never RSVP’d to his cousin Kyle Kennedy’s big day. The bride's mother, Victoria Gifford Kennedy said, "They texted me an hour before the wedding and asked if they could come. I responded with a very clear, 'Please do not come.'
They came anyway." Naturally, Taylor's appearance caused all kinds of chaos and Victoria was not happy, "I personally went up to Ms. Swift and asked her as nicely as I could to leave. It was like talking to a ghost. She seemed to look right past me." Taylor and Conor finally got the drift and left, but came back later and spent the night dancing at the reception. Taylor’s spokeswoman is saying that Taylor was invited to the wedding and the bride thanked her profusely for being there.
Here's something you probably didn't know: Avril Lavigne has been dating Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger for about six months. Oh, and it gets better: They're engaged! Chad proposed on the 8th of this month with a 14-carat diamond. Avril's rep says, "A romantic relationship blossomed as they spent time writing together." This will be Chad's first marriage and Avril's second. She was previously married to Deryck Whibley from Sum 41. That marriage only lasted three years
We've always known that Prince Harry can have a good time. And he proved that he's still on his game by partying naked in Las Vegas over the weekend. It happened Friday night when Harry and some friends went down to the bar in their hotel looking for chicks. They found some, and pretty soon, everybody was in Harry's VIP suite playing strip billiards. And someone was kind enough to snap some photos. Two of them ended up online yesterday. One pic shows a full-frontal Harry, although he's cupping his royal package so you can't see it. And there's a girl who's pretty naked snuggling up to him from behind. In the second photo, it's Harry who's coming up on a girl from behind. They're both naked and Harry's royal booty is exposed. A spokesman for the royal family says, "We have no comment to make on the photos at this time." Check out the pictures if you must right HERE, but WARNING!!! Technically, no naughty bits are exposed. Even Harry's bootycrack is censored. But these are still pretty risque. Strip billiards isn't the only game Prince Harry played during his weekend in Vegas. He also got into a swimming race with Ryan Lochte. The race went down at about 3:00am Monday morning at the Wynn Hotel's XS club. Ryan and Harry both jumped in the pool with their jeans on, and when Ryan won, he raised his arms in victory, and he and Harry hugged it out.
Nike will be selling its new LeBron James sneaker, the LeBron X, for a mere $315. The shoe debuted this month, during the Olympic gold-medal game between Spain and the U.S. Nike blamed the price on the increased cost of materials like cotton. This is LeBron's 10th Nike shoe. The first one came out in 2003, and "only" cost $110.
At this point, we have no idea who's going to be judging "American Idol" with Mariah Carey next season. Here's the latest:
1.) Kanye West is in negotiations with "Idol" to be a judge. Supposedly, there has been an offer to Kanye, but he's still reviewing it with his management.
2.) Nicki Minaj may be close to signing her offer, but Mariah is not happy about that. Supposedly, Mariah hung up the phone when she was told Nicki was the top candidate. Mariah wanted to be the only woman on the panel and she doesn't want to have to sit next to a younger, hotter female artist. But Mimi even offered her suggestion as a possible replacement on Twitter, attaching an old picture of her and Lenny Kravitz with the friendly message to American Idol: "What's going on? need the info!! What about this combo? :) if we could ever get him to do it." Lenny replied warmly to both Mariah and American Idol saying: "Girl, we've known each other since we were teenagers. How fun would that be?!" Her feed was then quickly full of followers and fans agreeing with the singer, saying they'd love to see Lenny on the show. No word on whether the network will take her up on the suggestion.
3.) If Randy Jackson does flip to a mentor position, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Enrique Iglesias and Nick Jonas are still in the running to be male judges, depending on if they add a fourth judge to balance out Nicki and Mariah.
"Us Weekly" claims it's happening: Nicki Minaj is an is an "American Idol" judge. They say it's essentially a done deal, although she does have some paperwork to sign before it becomes official. There was talk from other sources over the weekend that "Idol" had real interest in Nicki and that hiring her might reignite the cola wars, because Nicki is a Pepsi girl, and Coca-Cola is a major "Idol" sponsor. I've also heard Mariah Carey is upset because she negotiated to be the only female on the judging panel. What a mess, maybe they should move on and pick someone else?
I guess Chris Brown did watch Oprah's interview with Rihanna on Sunday night. After he saw some clips last week, Chris Tweeted some pictures of himself looking sad and introspective. Sources say that after Chris watched the full interview Sunday night, he told friends, "You know I love her and we're going to get back together one day." Then he sent Rihanna a text thanking her for being respectful. And a different source says that Chris'current girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, cried after watching the interview, "If Karreuche ever thought she stood a chance being Chris' main girl, she can forget that now. "Chris always told her Rihanna was his true love and now Rihanna told the whole world that too."
Kelly Ripa's new permanent co-host has been chosen, but won't be announced until the new season premieres next month. She will host the show alone when it returns on Monday, September 3rd and her new co-host will make his debut the next day, on the 4th. They will walk out onto the set together. Kelly has had 59 different guest co-hosts since Regis Philbin left last November. So that it's on the record, I think it will be Seth Meyers, but Nick feels like it's gonna be Nick Lachey and Shag thinks she's going to do the show with her husband, Mark Consuelos.
Rihanna's interview with Oprah Winfrey aired last night, and it contained even more controversial stuff than we heard in the previews. Most notably, Rihanna still loves Chris Brown and that they are friends again. She said, "We've been working on our friendship again. We're very, very close friends. We built a trust again and that's it. We love each other and we probably always will." And while she said she and Chris are not back together, she also said that her "stomach drops" when she sees him and she has to try to keep her emotions in check adding, "I think he was the love of my life."

Maksim Chmerkovskiy has a reputation of being the hard-ass on "Dancing With the Stars". And when he teamed up with Olympic soccer star Hope Solo for Season 13, he showed just how hard he could be. In her new book "Solo: A Memoir of Hope", Hope says Maks actually slapped her across the face during rehearsals. "He wanted my head in a specific position. To achieve that, he slapped me across the face. Hard." And that's not all he did. Hope says, "He manhandled me in rehearsals from the start, pushing me, whacking my stomach, bending my arms roughly. I thought that was just how it went, how dancers worked with each other. But it kept getting worse. One day, Maks was trying to put me in a certain position and hit my stomach so hard with his open palm that I had a red handprint there for the rest of the day." Hope claims she never said anything because she didn't want to "end his career." Maksim hit up Twitter the other day and posted some messages that don't mention Hope by name, but they definitely seem to be his response to this chaos. He said, "Always hated hypocrites and liars, but when someone is both and an opportunist, I just feel bad for them. Can't win at someone's expense." He added, "Life's best lessons are the ones that you smile through while they hurt you the most! I'm bullet proof...fire away!!"
Lady Gaga's bodyguard slammed a guy into a glass wall when he tried to get an autograph from her in a Romanian hotel. It looks pretty brutal, but if you watch the video until the end, you can see that the guy is fine. As soon as the bodyguard gets off him, he gets right up and leaves. The bodyguard's reaction seems way over the top. But at the same time, here's a lesson learned: Don't run straight at somebody who's got huge bodyguards around her. If the dude called out to her from more of a distance, this probably wouldn't have happened.
Some people think there's tension on the "Today" show because Matt Lauer allegedly pushed Ann Curry out. On yesterday's show, Al Roker seemed to call out Matt for allegedly having Ann fired as his co-host. Matt was talking to three women from the USA's gold-medal winning rowing team. He mentioned their victory tradition of throwing a teammate in the water and added, "The tradition here in New York is you throw her in the Hudson River." Then Al chimed in with this, "Which is different than our tradition, which is to throw one of us under the bus, but that's another story." It did seem to create an awkward moment and NBC has cut Al's comment out of a video on their website. But you can see it HERE anyway!

According to the Big Fat Rumor of the Day it sounds like Jennifer Aniston accepted Justin Theroux's proposal on one condition: That he sign a prenuptial agreement. Jen is worth $120 million while Justin is worth $10.5 million. A source says,"She's working feverishly with her lawyers to hash out the pre-nup so she and Justin can marry by the end of the year. Then they plan to start adoption proceedings so they can bring home a baby in 2013." Meanwhile, Fox News says Jen has been feeding false information to various friends, to find out which ones are leaking stuff to the press. A source says, "A lot of celebrities do it, it's all a game to find out who is doing the betraying." That is awesome, genius!!
Mayim Bialik was photographed in Los Angeles yesterday looking pretty good except for the bandages on her hand and arm. We'd heard that she almost lost a finger on her left hand, but it looks like it was actually on the right. Because her right hand is heavily bandaged, but her left isn't bandaged at all. Although she does have her left forearm wrapped. Meanwhile, it sounds like the accident wasn't quite as serious as originally thought. Mayim's publicist called it, "a minor car accident" and said she's doing fine." And Mayim was back on the set of "The Big Bang Theory" yesterday. Mayim Tweeted her thanks to the cast and crew for their "love and support", and added, "Doing ok. Grateful. And tired."

On "Good Morning America" yesterday, George Stephanopoulous tried to get Robert Pattinson to talk about Kristen Stewart, but he wouldn't bite. George said, "Everybody just wants to know, how are you doing? What do you want your fans to know about what's going on?" And Robert answered, "I'd like my fans to know that Cinnamon Toast Crunch only has 30 calories a bowl in it, for instance." Cinnamon Toast Crunch is Robert's favorite cereal, and George had given him a box at the beginning of the interview. Robert also talked about his fame and what comes with it, "It's a different thing. You get into it to do movies. I've never been interested in trying to sell my personal life and that's really the only reason people bring it up. The reason why you go onto TV is to promote movies." Asked if he can get used to it, he said, "I think, if you get used to it, I think you start going crazy. It's like being on the craziest theme park ride. It's totally exciting, but eventually, at some point you have to have a break."

"Star" magazine has been hounding Simpson with bogus stories all summer (like saying in its new report, they diss Jessica’s post-baby body, writing that three months after giving birth to daughter Maxwell Drew, “Jessica’s figure looks nowhere near its old form.”) but they claim that Jessica might be having trouble shedding those pounds because she's pregnant again! The magazine quotes doctors who have nothing to do with Simpson as saying that women can sometimes become pregnant right after giving birth. Again, the experts are saying that it’s possible for women — in general — to conceive in their postpartum period. None of them has actually met with Jessica.
Megadeath performed in Singapore last week and during the show, Dave Mustaine offered up some unsolicited political commentary. Dave said he believes President Obama "staged" some recent shootings in America because he thinks it'll help him pass gun control laws. He said, "Back in my country, my president is trying to pass a gun ban, so he's staging all of these murders like the 'Fast and Furious' thing down at the border, and Aurora, Colorado, all the people that were killed there. And now the beautiful people at the Sikh temple." Whoa. Take it easy, dude. The Obama comment happens at 2:37.
In the Big Fat Rumor of the Day, Kristen Stewart has been dropped from the "Snow White and the Huntsman" sequel. Supposedly, Universal Studios is re-tooling the concept so that instead of a proper follow-up, they're going to do a spin-off focusing on The Huntsman who was played by Chris Hemsworth. That way they can get rid of Kristen, who messed a lot
of things up when she had an affair with the original movie's director, Rupert Sanders. However, Universal says they're not doing this to get rid of Kristen. Her Snow White character could still appear in the Huntsman movie. Also, Sanders hasn't been ruled out as director.
Here are four things Chad Johnson had last week that he does not have this week: A job, two reality shows, and a wife. Evelyn Lozada filed for divorce yesterday, after Chad allegedly head-butted her during an argument on Saturday night. They were fighting over a receipt for condoms that she found in his car. Chad and Evelyn just got married on July 4th, meaning they lasted 41 days. That means they beat the old record held by Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries. Congratulations. The wedding was filmed for a reality series called "Ev and Ocho", which VH1 has decided not to air. The two of them were also on HBO's "Hard Knocks", because Chad was supposed to play for the Miami Dolphins this year. But they dropped him from the team, too. Meanwhile, a woman has come forward claiming she was having an affair with Chad from January through May of this year and TMZ says this is the second time Chad has been accused of domestic violence. In 2000, before he started playing for Oregon State, he was actually convicted of slapping his girlfriend at the time. Meanwhile, Chad posted this message on his website yesterday, "I would like to apologize to everyone for the recent events that have occurred. I would like to wish Evelyn well and will never say anything bad about her because I truly love her to death. I will continue to be positive and train hard for another opportunity in the NFL. To all the fans and supporters I have disappointed, you have my sincerest apologies. I will stay

Ryan Lochte has said he's definitely interested in doing reality TV but first, he's booked an acting gig. Sort of. Ryan will guest star on "90210" this season, but he's playing himself. According to reports, he'll show up "as a guest at a resort." The episode will air on October 29th.
Alicia Keys is ready to turn up the heat on her new album. In a post on her website Tuesday, she announced her next album will be titled "Girl on Fire." She says the songs will focus on "finding yourself and your own inner strength." It’s her 5th album, first since 2009. She said, "On one song, One of the lines I wrote says, 'I’ll never be perfect, but at least now I’m brave!'" As soon as we hear a release date, we'll pass it on.
Eminem has begun work on his eighth solo album. He has just completed producing the new Slaughterhouse album "Welcome to: Our House." They are signed to his Shady Records label. He said he’s ready to focus fully on the follow-up to his 2010 record "Recovery."
Robert Pattinson made his first post-scandal appearance on "The Daily Show" last night, and it was a little awkward, but definitely entertaining. Jon Stewart started the interview off by breaking out the Ben and Jerry's ice cream. And he said, "We're just a couple-a gals talking." They did reference the Kristen Stewart thing for the first few minutes, without actually saying her name. Rob admitted he didn't really know what to say because, "I'm cheap, I didn't hire a publicist." The closest anyone came to making a direct comment about the scandal was when Jon, in a "sassy chick" kind of voice, said, "Boy, you are better off! Kick her to the curb!" Rob is doing press right now for his next movie, "Cosmopolis", which comes out in limited release this Friday. Tomorrow, he'll be on "Good Morning America", and he's also doing a 30-minute interview with MTV.com on Thursday night.
Kelly Clarkson performed "Lose Yourself" during a show in Eminem's hometown of Detroit on Friday night. She even put on a hoodie. Afterward, she said, "It's so hard! I have all this saliva in my mouth and I have nowhere to go with it. I can't swallow, there's no time to breathe."
Miley Cyrus will guest star on "Two and a Half Men" this coming season. She's playing a "love interest" for Jake, Angus T. Jones' character. According to the "Hollywood Reporter", her character is described as "a sexy new girl in town with a comedic streak." It's unclear if this is just a one-episode thing or if she'll stick around for multiple episodes. For what it's worth, Angus will be 19 in October and Miley will be 20 in November.
"The Voice" has announced two new twists for its upcoming season. First off, the coaches will have the ability to steal contestants from each other during the "battle rounds." Basically, when a coach cuts the losing singer, one of the other coaches can choose to buzz in and "claim" that contestant. Here's how it works out: As usual, each coach starts with 16 singers, which is reduced to eight during the battle rounds. But coaches can "claim" two discarded singers from another team, which brings their total to 10. Then comes something new called the "knockout round," where the teams will be whittled down to five. The 10 singers will each perform on a stool in a boxing ring, and the top five on each team will go on to the live shows. Season Three premieres on September 10th on NBC.

Chad Johnson a.k.a. the NFL Star Formerly Known As Chad Ochocinco, was arrested Saturday night after he allegedly head-butted his new wife. Chad just married "Basketball Wives" star Evelyn Lozada on the 4th of July. But on Saturday night, they got into an argument in their driveway after Evelyn found a receipt for condoms in Chad's car. Evelyn says Chad head-butted her, but Chad claims they just both bent over at the same time and knocked heads, "Three Stooges"-style. Lozada was treated for what a police spokesman called a "pretty good-sized" laceration. According to the police report, after Chad head-butted Evelyn, he screamed, "I don't give a f***! I don't give a f*** about my career!" Evelyn then fled to a neighbor's house and called the cops. When Chad spoke to police, he first told them that she head-butted him. The Miami Dolphins aren't waiting around for the legal system to figure out whose idea the head-butt was. They cut Chad last night, before he even had a chance to play a regular season game with them. Chad was picked up by the Miami Dolphins during the off-season, after the New England Patriots got rid of him. He had the worst season of his career last year with New England. Chad and Evelyn are currently filming a reality show for VH1 called "Ev and Ocho". They both have also already appeared on the new season of HBO's"Hard Knocks", which focuses not on head-butting, but on the Dolphins training camp. Chad was released yesterday morning after posting $2,500 bail. He did not speak to reporters on his way out.
Oprah Winfrey's interview with Rihanna airs next Sunday night, but here's a preview. Rihanna broke down and cried while discussing her assault at the hands of Chris Brown. She said, "It was embarrassing. It was humiliating. I lost my best friend." Talking post-split, she added, "I was resentful. I held a grudge. I was dark." There's no word if she goes into detail about what their relationship is like now. So what was Oprah's take-away from the Interview? She expected Rihanna to be harder. Oprah says, "I thought she would have been kind of a bad-ass kind of a rocker hard-edge woman, nothing could have been farther from the truth. She was thoughtful. She was very emotional. She was vulnerable. She pushes the edge a lot, and there's a reason for that." They have since reconciled, both personally and professionally; a source told Us Weekly they hooked up "on-and-off" for nearly a year in 2011, and the two collaborated on two remixes in early 2012. Ryan Lochte has big plans beyond peeing in the pool after the Olympics. He told Matt Lauer on NBC that he would like to venture into reality tv. "I’m definitely looking towards "Dancing with the Stars" and "The Bachelor." We'll see what happens." He is planning on moving to L.A. and even start his own line of fashion, "That is my passion. When swimming’s all said and done, I definitely want to get into fashion and design my own clothing line." Meanwhile the most decorated Olympic athelete of all times, Michael Phelps may be retiring from swimming, but not sports all together. He has signed on to star in "The Haney Project," a Golf Channel show that will make him the student of Hank Haney, the former coach of Tiger Woods. Michael said, "I have traveled the world through swimming, but really haven’t had an opportunity to experience the world through my travels. As I enter this next chapter of my life, I think I will be able to shift my competitiveness to anything I put my mind to and golf is one of the things I want to focus on."

In an interview yesterday, Alanis Morissette hinted that she might be in negotiations to be a judge on "American Idol" next
season. When asked if "Idol" has ever contacted her about judging, Alanis said, "I'm in talks with somebody right now, I can't name any names, but I'm pretty excited at the thought of doing it more formally. I still have to investigate further, and that's all I can say." Technically, she doesn't mention that it's "Idol" and there are many singing competition shows on TV. Meanwhile, the "New York Post" is reporting that "Idol" has asked Puff Diddly Pooh if he's interested. Supposedly, he isn't hot on the idea at this point. Sources tell E! News that he's considered a "long shot." There have been a lot of rumored potential "Idol" judges including Nick Jonas, Pharrell, Brad Paisley, Will.I.Am, Fergie, Miley Cyrus, Aretha Franklin, Patti LaBelle, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj and Adam Lambert. Even Randy Jackson's future is up in the air. The only confirmed judge is Mariah Carey.

Earlier this week, we told you Kevin Hart will be hosting this year's MTV "Video Music Awards" but he's already been handcuffed with a particular line of jokes. A source says any jokes about the Kristen Stewart cheating scandal are banned from the awards show. Both Kristen and Robert Pattinson are scheduled to present and Kevin is under orders to "refrain from mentioning it."
This was the Big Fat Rumor of the Day a while ago, but for some reason it won't die. Tabloids are still claiming that Kris Jenner was instrumental in setting up the deal to sell her daughter Kim Kardashian's sex tape back in 2007. That tape basically put Kim, and ultimately the entire Kardashian family, on the map, which is something Kris has reportedly wanted since she was young. A source claims to have seen Kris' name on the contract with Vivid Entertainment which sold the tape, "Kim K Superstar". The source says, "Kris was totally involved in arranging the sale of Kim's tape. The video already existed, and Kris was there every step of the way as a middleman brought in to market it to an adult entertainment company." Kris allegedly received nearly $500,000 for her part in making the deal happen.

In a new promo with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, our favorite comedian Kevin Hart announces he will be hosting MTV's Video Music Awards. In the humorous one-minute spot, Kevin shares a hotel room with his famous friends. The VMAs air Thursday, September 6th.
Kristin Cavallari and Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler are parents. Kristin gave birth to a baby boy early yesterday morning. They named him Camden Jack Cutler. This is their first child. Kristin and Jay broke off their engagement last July, but announced late in the year that it was back on. In January, they announced they were expecting. There's no word on a wedding date.
Kanye West debuted a new song over the weekend that he wrote about Kim Kardashian and it carries the very romantic title, “Perfect B****". Unfortunately, we don't have audio. Kanye and his new friend Leonardo DiCaprio showed up at a club in New York City and Kanye decided it was time for him to play DJ for about 45 minutes. So far, no one has posted it online yet. The song is about his past and present flames and he raps verses about his search for the perfect woman and how he has now found the 'perfect b****." It also contains references to Kim's famous curves. And just in case there was any confusion, Kanye later Tweeted, "I wrote the song about Kim." Kim recently posted a photo of her "Prince" and "Princess" pillows to Twitter, and told her followers, "Wishing my prince was here with me tonight." There's no word if or when Kanye plans to release it.
Jennifer Lopez has sued her former driver for extortion, claiming he demanded $2.8 million or else he'd tell the media and
authorities about secrets he overheard while driving her here and there. Jennifer's case is a countersuit to a claim filed by Hakob Manoukian, who claimed he was forced to resign after being publicly berated by JLo's manager, Benny Medina. JLo said this driver became drunk with power and wanted to control her entire security team and get more money for doing it. When he was shut down, Jennifer claims he retaliated by threatening to spill confidential information that would be highly embarrassing. And it gets worse. JLo says Manoukian threatened that if he wasn't paid $2.8 million he would take his info to authorities and have her criminally prosecuted. Lopez is suing for damages in excess of $20 million.
Last year, Rihanna appeared in several ads for the skincare company Nivea. But it sounds like they won't be asking her back because they have a new CEO and he thinks she's too skanky. Well, he didn't say that exactly. But he told a German newspaper, "The ad starring Rihanna is a no go. I do not understand how to bring the core brand of Nivea in conjunction with Rihanna. Nivea is a company which stands for trust, family and reliability." In response, Rihanna posted a picture of the guy, and wrote, "No caption necessary."
It sounds like things are moving forward for Katy Perry and John Mayer. Katy has been having sleepovers at John's house, which is in a gated community in L.A., "It's very private and they've been sneaking in and out. It has been going on for a while." This past weekend they attended a party at the home of a Hollywood talent agent, and the "guests" included creatures from a wild animal preserve, including a kangaroo and an alligator. A source says, "They were really cute. They were standing near each other most of the night, playing with the animals outside. They definitely enjoyed each other's company. They almost acted like they've been a couple for a long time. It definitely didn't seem like a new relationship."
"Good Morning America" thought it had the first post-heartbreak interview with Robert Pattinson, but that's no longer the case. Pattinson will appear on "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" Monday night two days before he does "GMA". Pattinson will be promoting his upcoming movie "Cosmopolis". There's no official word if he'll talk about Kristen Stewart during either appearance. But a source said, "He's never talked about his personal relationships before, and he's not going to start next week." ABC has to be fuming about this!
Sharon Osbourne has finally opened up about the vague Tweet she sent out last month saying she's "not returning" to "America's Got Talent". She says she's not coming back next season because she's ticked off at NBC for "firing" her son Jack in June. She tells the "New York Post" that Jack was deep in negotiations to do the upcoming military-themed reality show, "Stars Earn Stripes" but they suddenly cut ties with him right after he revealed that he had multiple sclerosis. She says, "I just can't be fake. It's discrimination, and it was badly handled. It's time to move on." Sharon is under contract for another season, but she says, "They can't make me do something I don't want to do. All they can do is stop me from being a judge on another network for five years." She will finish this season though. She Tweeted, "Please don't misunderstand. I love the show with all my heart and will of course finish out the season. It's still one of the best shows on TV." NBC has acknowledged that they had "serious discussions" with Jack but there was never a signed contract. Sharon says NBC has tried to smooth things over with her even offering to pay Jack's full appearance fee, but she refused. She says it isn't about money, and that NBC missed an opportunity for Jack to inspire people with the disease.
The stars of the CBS sitcom "Mike & Molly" Melissa McCarthy and Billy Gardell are, "at war." An insider says, "Billy feels he's the real star of 'Mike & Molly', but it's Melissa who's getting all the attention and making matters worse, Billy thinks she's reveling in it, and the tension between them is growing. It didn't help that at last year's Emmys she was crowned with a tiara. Billy's ego is bruised." Melissa won an Emmy for the show last year, and is nominated again this year. She also got an Oscar nomination this past year for "Bridesmaids". Execs at CBS are trying desperately to resolve the situation.

His latest track features previously unheard vocals by the late Aaliyah and has made a lot of fans mad who have accused him of using the song as a vehicle to diss his rival. The line has been perceived as a dig at Chris' mediocre album sales after his latest offering "Fortune" sold 135,000 copies in its first week while Drake's "Take Care" shifted 600,000. Fans took to Twitter in a rage after hearing the song, which has been released to honor the anniversary of Aaliyah's tragic death in a plane crash. Jigga’s business partner Jay Brown has flown from the US to Barbados to check on Rihanna after she returned from her European holiday. He reported back to Jay-Z that Chris and RiRi are back on after Chris’s visits to see Rihanna on the French Riviera. They met up three times while she cruised the Med on her yacht last week. A source revealed, “Jay-Z sees Rihanna like a daughter and has sent his right-hand man to Barbados to see what’s going on with her and Chris. The parents of a young boy in London are upset with their nanny. On Thursday, Adele was at a London café. The nanny had to use the potty, so she left the little boy with Adele and went off to use the bathroom. When she got back, they all took a photo together and then left. The parents are angry she left the boy with a stranger.

You will never believe who has thrown their hat in the ring to judge American Idol...SNOOP DOGG! Or should we called him Snoop Lion? So far Mariah Carey is the only guaranteed judge on the show. In an interview this week, Snoop said, "I'll do American Idol." He also promises to be respectful and to watch his language. There's no indication that Idol has even considered Snoop at this point.

Wednesday night, they were spotted out to dinner and they were, quote, "holding hands across the table, sneaking kisses and laughing." They were photographed together. Katy claims that she's just looking to heal and that she's not down on love.
Lil Wayne is stepping away from rap...to give us a break from him! He says quote, "I feel like the fans deserve some peace from me. I've been everywhere. I've been out on everybody's song, I'm still on everybody's song." He is now ready to start up a new career...skateboarding!! And he's serious about it! He says, quote, " I picked up the skateboard and I thought it's be a hobby and what happened is it's a lifestyle. In order to be fully committed, you have to live that lifestyle. With these young kids now, you have to be about that life." So he's putting rap on the back burner to skating!
Just when you thought that things had settled down between Usher and his ex-wife, Tameka...it just got worse. When Tameka's son Kile was fighting for his life following a jet ski accident last month, the media was reporting that Usher had rushed to her aid...and to the hospital. Not true says Tameka! Usher and Tameka are fighting for custody of their biological kids...and after Kile's death, Usher asked the courts to postpone their next court hearing. Tameka is saying that any anguish Usher claims to be feeling over Kile's death is FALSE. She says Usher only visited him ONCE while he was in the hospital. She also claims she wanted him to send out a Tweet asking his followers to pray for Kile, but he refused. Instead, his next tweet was a picture of his breakfast. She is saying that Usher is using Kile's death as way to postpone the hearing.
If you've been wondering where Robert Pattinson has been hiding out since this whole cheating scandal came to light...we finally found out! He's been hiding out at Reese Witherspoon's ranch in California! In case you don't remember...Robert & Reese co-starred in "Water for Elephants", and when those Kristen Stewart cheating photos surfaced, Reese offered him a place so he could get away from it all. Sources say that Robert is a "total mess and he isn't going to be able to get beyond the cheating, one time or not." Kristen has apparently been hiding out at her parents house. Robert will make his FIRST public appearance at the premiere of his new movie on August 13th!

Rumor has it that Casper Smart was spotted at naughty NYC LOVE shop...everyone assumed he was there picking up a little something for J. Lo. A source has come forward claiming that he goes there for the peepshows...and those shows of the gay variety. The source is claiming that Casper is gay and is only using J. Lo for her money and fame! Of course their rep is saying, "Casper is not gay. These comments are born from envy and jealousy."

The candidates for Video of the Year are: Drake's video for "Take Care", Rihanna's"We Found Love", Katy Perry's "Wide Awake", Gotye's "Somebody I Used To Know" and M.I.A's "Bad Girls."Lady Gaga has dominated the VMA's the past 2 years, but this year, she was completely shut out. Although, if you think about it, she didn't do much this year as far as music and videos go. Alicia Keys will be the host, or should I say "hostess?" She'll also be performing and it all goes down on September 6th on MTV.
Cuba Gooding Jr. is a wanted man in New Orleans. Police issued a warrant for his arrest after he allegedly shoved a female bartender at a bar on Bourbon Street yesterday morning at 2:00am. According to police, Cuba got upset and started cussing some of the other customers out because they took his picture. The bartender came over and asked Cuba to leave, and that's when he shoved her against the wall. Unfourtunately, he can't just disappear. He's in New Orleans filming a movie called "The Butler" with pretty much EVERBODY. Including someone who "will find you......and kill you", Liam Neeson lol.
Vanity Fair has put out it's Best Dressed list for the third time, and at the top of the list is Kate Middleton. Also on the list, Prince Harry, Alicia Keys, Matt Lauer, Tom Brady and our man Jay-Z, amongst a few others. I wonder if Beyonce is upset she wasn't on the list but her hubby was. Of course, she's been super busy playing mom. But congrats to Jay-Z on being very well dressed.
