If you missed the 2013 MTV VMAs last night, it's a good and a bad thing. It's good because you didn't have to endure Miley Cyrus' HORRIFIC performance. It's bad because you missed out on what was one of the BEST VMA performances in HISTORY. Justin Timberlake received the Video Vanguard Award and because of that, he was given an almost 20 minute long time slot for his performance. And every minute just got better and better and better. He went from hit to hit...from "Cry Me A River" to "Sexy Back" to "Senorita".......and then.....it happened. Just when you thought it couldn't get any more magical......it did.........N'SYNC. YEP, the other 4 guys came up from under the stage and gave an outstanding Nsync performance, dancing included and they finished off with "BYE BYE BYE". And best believe, they still got it. Once done, Justin continued wowing us all and finished it all off with "Mirrors." The entire crowd was on their feet the whole time singing, dancing and showing nothing but respect for Justin and his memorable performance that will forvever go down in VMA history. You just have to see for yourself. ENJOY!
School is about to be back in session and for those of you that are going off to college, it can be expensive. Well one school in Indiana had been running a promotion for years that if a select student was chosen to make a half court shot and they made it, they would receive $11,000 towards their tuition. (free tuition basically.) Nobody had ever made the shot in all the years they have been running the promotion...........until now.
Meet Markus Burden, from Frankfurt, Illinois. A freshman at Ball State University. He was given 4 chances to make the shot. He missed the 1st three....but this video picks up on his fourth attempt. What an amazing feeling that must have been! Good for him!
Check out her new single "Applause," fromher album ARTPOP. What do you think? Maybe I need to hear it a few more times...but I'm not a HUGE fan of it. It's definitely a tame song, unlike her others. She'll also be performing this song live at the 2013 MTV VMA's on 8/25!
....but she handles it like a professional! She was in the middle of singing "Halo" when her hair gets caught in a fan. She wasn't hurt, the amount of hair that was caught in it actually stopped the blade from spinning. She was eventually freed and kept the performance going.
