73-year-old Velma Kellen of Yelm, Washington had recently purchased a new furnace and had it installed in her home. She soon noticed that it wasn't working correctly because the house NEVER got warm. Velma called a repairman who investigated and immediately found out what was wrong, informing her that he had both good and bad news. Imagine her surprise when she found out that the furnace was working fine.. there just happened to be a STRANGER LIVING UNDERNEATH HER HOUSE!

The man tampered with the air ducts redirecting them to keep HIMSELF warm! the repairman also found empty beer cans and liquor bottles in the crawl space under house. The man who was living there wasn't "home" at the time and hasn't been back since. Damage cost Velma a total of $500.00! "If I would have known about it, I suppose it would have frightened me," Velma stated, "But I'm still at the stage where I can't believe it." (I feel you there Ms. Velma!)
